As the chair of the Committee on Government Efficiency, Representative Paul Curtman has been researching best practices and policies that have proven to maximize the value of taxpayer dollars by minimizing redundancy and honing in on results for each dollar spent.  One such proposal that other states are considering and advancing are known as Social Impact Bonds.

In partnering with the Truman School, and more broadly with MU, it is Rep. Curtman's intent to have a more honest discussion about this public policy removed from the politics of Jefferson City.  In that spirit, we have invited academics and practitioners to drive the dialogue and we welcome you to join us.
